About Seralex
Seralex is a telecom infrastructure contractor based in North Carolina, serving ISPs, prime contractors, property developers, and data center operators across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and the Washington DC metro area. We field 50 technicians across 10 to 15 crews daily, own our drilling and splicing equipment, and mobilize within 24 hours of a signed contract. From underground drilling to subscriber activation, projects run under one contract, one schedule, and one point of accountability.
Company Background
Seralex was founded in 2021 by Alex Vizir, who came into telecom as an install technician at Spectrum and spent the decade before that building and running companies in logistics.
What he saw in the field was a shortage of technicians who could do the work correctly the first time. Seralex started as an answer to that: a crew of people who knew what they were doing, sent to jobs that needed doing right.
Five years on, Seralex fields 50 technicians across 10 to 15 crews daily, running underground construction, splicing, structured cabling, last-mile installation, and network restoration under one contract. Critical infrastructure runs on deadlines that do not move. Our clients keep those deadlines because we own our equipment, staff our own crews, and mobilize in 24 hours.
How We Work
Seralex owns its HDD rigs, fusion splicers, OTDR test units, and fleet vehicles. Crews are dedicated by service line rather than cross-trained: drilling operators drill, splicing technicians splice, cabling crews cable. On a given day, 10 to 15 crews are working across our markets, drawn from a field workforce of 50 technicians. Where a project calls for capacity beyond what our own crews can absorb, we bring in vetted subcontractors under Seralex supervision.
Standard lead time from signed contract to crews on site is 24 hours.
Each project runs under a dedicated Seralex project manager who handles scheduling, coordinates utility locates, and delivers as-built documentation at closeout. For clients running their own reporting portals, our PMs work inside those systems rather than asking you to adopt ours.
